When it comes to sewer issues, providing customers with accurate information is our goal. That is why we use camera systems to provide customers information related to their sewer. By using a video inspection camera, we can diagnose the issues inside a sewer pipe!
Sewer inspection cameras allow our team to discover what the issue is & where it’s located. We can also determine what tools we will need to use to fix the problem.
Knowing all the facts allows our expert technicians to provide an affordable solution. We also educate our customers so they can make an informed decision on how to proceed with repairs.
What is a CCTV Sewer Camera Inspection?
Sewer line camera inspections involve a waterproof video camera snake that gets pushed through a pipeline. This enables us to do a visual inspection of sewer lines and hard-to-reach pipes.
It can be hard to inspect a pipe encased in concrete, behind a wall, or beneath your home’s foundation. With a sewer camera, this is all done without destroying any property to access the pipe.
We insert a flexible rod equipped with the plumbing camera into the pipe. This allows the cctv camera to travel through the pipe while sending a video signal back to a monitor. Our technicians can then inspect the length of the pipeline and make a digital recording. Our camera snakes have bright lights that illuminate the inside of the pipe so we can see any cracks, clogs, or other issues.
Each sewer camera also has a radio transmitter. This records the underground depth and physical location of any issues in the pipe. This allows us to only we identify issues, but find out exactly where they are!
Problems We Solve
Our sewer camera inspections allow our technicians to see any problems with the pipe. We can then determine the location of the issue so that we can carry out timely repairs. These issues could include:
- root intrusion
- cracks
- punctures
- corrosion
- broken pipes
- sagging pipes
- drain blockages
- misaligned pipe sections
The camera can also identify grease buildups, leaks, and obstructions.
After a sewer line repair is complete, we use the sewer camera to perform a follow-up inspection. This ensures that the pipeline has been properly cleaned or repaired.
When Do You Need a Sewer Line Camera Inspection?
A sewer camera inspection is perfect if you are experiencing repeated sewer or drain line backups, slow drains, or clogs. It’s also a great service to add to your home inspection checklist before buying a house!
There is a major cost-benefit of having a professional sewer camera inspection done. It can determine what condition the pipes are in, as well as any potential, expensive issues down the road.
